I finally am pleased with one I made for Edward. It's not the first one I made, and it's not one I messed up on and kept so I could do a better one for someone else. Aaaah. This will be perfect for the summer. And yes, those are my hyacinth in the background, and they smell as good as you can imagine.
The pink zig zag fabric(the one Nicole used earlier for our friend Chrissy) has a sister fabric who parades around in red, and I'm in love with her. I fell head over heels for this one and had to make a blanket out of it. I truly think I'll make many more things out of this fabric. I adore it.

Vintage Raggedy Ann
I learned an important lesson making this car seat blanket: Never use stretch denim. For any reason. The inside of this one started out being stretch denim. I'd walk away from sewing, come back and the denim was bigger or smaller or foldy or something weird. Booo. The red with cream polka dots looks better anyway. (I used a little of the denim on the handles because I ran out of polka dots.)
I think this Raggedy Ann fabric is so sweet, but I don't really know anyone who "fits" it. I ended up using it for my friend, Angie's, new niece. They live in the Midwest. That works, right? :)

Squares for Lacy
We have officially run out of the brown and blue paisley fabric, which I didn't know until Lacy ordered it. AH! She asked for something "classic" for her little baby boy's car seat and trusted me to find the right fabric. That's a lot of pressure. I like it, so it must be good, right? :)
(I need to remove that airline sticker from my car seat model. How tacky.)
