We admittedly love all things Sarah Jane. Especially her fabric lines. We love that she is nostalgic about her art work, and gives it to us to play with. Thank you, Sarah Jane!

Bohemian Festival

Well, it doesn't get much more vibrant than this. My last post was all about the calm and muted tones. This one is not. At all. It's gorgeous! There's a pink back and a green back. Perfect for twin girls!! Just sayin'.

Willow

I'm not so sure about the name of the line "Willow," but I do so love the line of fabric. I don't often see muted tones anymore, and it's quite sweet and calming in the vibrant world we live in. (I wonder if that's what babies think? Hmm . . .)

Mini Chevrons

I found three mini chevrons at the fabric store the other day and paired them with some colors to pop. Quite fun! Plus, the first one is just so cozy with the minky on the inside. Visit our store to purchase any of these.

Catching Up

I'm not a slacker!  I'm doing the work!  (I'm quoting "What About Bob?"  Just so no one thinks I'm actually crazy.)  I just noticed the thread in the top left corner of this photo.  Woops!  Love this fabric - it's called "Flea Market Fancy" and it really is.  Fancy, without actually being from the flea market.

There is lime green minky on the inside of this one.  And cute owls on the outside.

What?! I cut the fabric sideways! Bah. I'm so bugged. Secretly, it doesn't bother  me too much to have the Chevron rows going vertically. What do you think?

My cousin, Amy, moved to Kauai, Hawaii a couple years ago. She asked me to make a surfer themed car seat blanket for her good friend there. What do you think, surf-y enough? I'm in love!

Flowers for the Giraffes

I went into work the other day to find about five new lines of fabric. What?! Of course I had to make some new car seat blankets (canopies) for the shop. Take a look around and have fun. 

The Warmest Canopy. Ever.

I found this flannel and had to buy it. With minky, of course. The result is seriously the warmest car seat blanket you can buy. Buy it in our shop!

Gray is the New Black

Who knew that gray would come back into style - and with a vengeance? Remember when people used to paint their houses gray and white in the early 1990's? We're doing it again. And I'm buying as much gray material as possible apparently. I made these three canopies for our shop and then realized they're all gray. Plus, there's one more I made for the display/sample for the darling quilt shop I work at. You see, they're kind enough to carry our patterns (which you can also buy in our shop), and they fly off the shelves if there's a sample of the perfect design sitting next to the patterns.

Secretly, this canopy makes me want to go back to Hawaii and golf at Kapalua Bay. Anyone else?

p.s. No snickering about my nasty grass. It's January 4th here in Utah, and there's no snow. Totally gross.
