Bold Black and White

I'm in love with this one! I think it is just that - BOLD. And beautiful. Check out more pictures or purchase on The Butterfly Net before I do.

Deer and Dots in Purple

How darling is this fabric?! I love the dots on the other side, too. This one is reversible! Snatch it at The Butterfly Net before it's gone. Too cute! Nice job, Nicole.

Pink and Brown Dots

I've always been in love with pink and brown. When my daughter was born I had everything in her room in sync with pink and brown. I loved this fabric, and had nobody particular in mind when I bought it, but just had to make a car seat blanket with it. And, yes, it's reversible. I just got lazy and didn't take the pictures of the other side attached.

Photo Shoot

We took some great pictures today of all the car seat blankets we have for sale on our Etsy shop and this one is my favorite. Can you tell we love green fabric?

Blue Paisley

I loved the pink version so much, I had to make one in blue, too. This time I used celery-green minky for the inside.

FREE SHIPPING

FREE SHIPPING ON ALL CAR SEAT BLANKETS UNTIL JULY 15TH!

*Go to our etsy shop to see if we've got one you want, or email us for a custom order.

Meanwhile, feast your eyes on another car seat blanket I wish I could keep. Hopefully I'll at least get to see this one often. Also, do not feast your eyes on the background of these photos. It was the only shade anywhere when I needed to take the photo. Too bright outside! TOO BRIGHT. I'm always in the mood for that yellow minky. Maybe I should make bed sheets out of it. Or a couch...

Sara's Baby Girl

Sara ordered a baby pink dottie swaddle blanket from our etsy shop and wanted a car seat blanket that would "go" with it. She chose chocolate brown Moda dottie fabric and ivory minky with the baby pink Moda dottie fabric on the handles. (I had to make a tiny quilt with batting for the handles because the brown dottie was so dark that it was showing through the pink dottie.) That minky fabric really is irresistible, isn't it?

Christine's Baby Girl

I made this one with one of my favorite fabrics - Amy Butler Dandelion Fields in "mist." I decided to try doing a reversible blanket and I put another Amy Butler fabric, Daisy Bouquet, on the back. I would so keep this one if I had a reason to. It's feminine without being over-the-top - exactly what I would want. Hope you enjoy it, Christine!

More Twins!

I forgot to post these pictures after I made the blankets, but not because they weren't cute enough. My Mom requested these for some friends who just had twins - a boy and a girl. I love happy colors!

Edward's Dot and More Zig Zag

I finally am pleased with one I made for Edward. It's not the first one I made, and it's not one I messed up on and kept so I could do a better one for someone else. Aaaah. This will be perfect for the summer. And yes, those are my hyacinth in the background, and they smell as good as you can imagine.
The pink zig zag fabric(the one Nicole used earlier for our friend Chrissy) has a sister fabric who parades around in red, and I'm in love with her. I fell head over heels for this one and had to make a blanket out of it. I truly think I'll make many more things out of this fabric. I adore it.

Vintage Raggedy Ann

I learned an important lesson making this car seat blanket: Never use stretch denim. For any reason. The inside of this one started out being stretch denim. I'd walk away from sewing, come back and the denim was bigger or smaller or foldy or something weird. Booo. The red with cream polka dots looks better anyway. (I used a little of the denim on the handles because I ran out of polka dots.)
I think this Raggedy Ann fabric is so sweet, but I don't really know anyone who "fits" it. I ended up using it for my friend, Angie's, new niece. They live in the Midwest. That works, right? :)

My friend Jaynalee is having a baby girl - after three boys. We're thrilled for her and can't wait to see the darling! Just a few weeks left!

Squares for Lacy

We have officially run out of the brown and blue paisley fabric, which I didn't know until Lacy ordered it. AH! She asked for something "classic" for her little baby boy's car seat and trusted me to find the right fabric. That's a lot of pressure. I like it, so it must be good, right? :)
(I need to remove that airline sticker from my car seat model. How tacky.)
