Catching Up

I'm not a slacker!  I'm doing the work!  (I'm quoting "What About Bob?"  Just so no one thinks I'm actually crazy.)  I just noticed the thread in the top left corner of this photo.  Woops!  Love this fabric - it's called "Flea Market Fancy" and it really is.  Fancy, without actually being from the flea market.
There is lime green minky on the inside of this one.  And cute owls on the outside.
Another minky one!  This is for a sophisticated baby girl, I think.

Blue Paisley

I loved the pink version so much, I had to make one in blue, too. This time I used celery-green minky for the inside.

More Twins!

I forgot to post these pictures after I made the blankets, but not because they weren't cute enough. My Mom requested these for some friends who just had twins - a boy and a girl. I love happy colors!

Squares for Lacy

We have officially run out of the brown and blue paisley fabric, which I didn't know until Lacy ordered it. AH! She asked for something "classic" for her little baby boy's car seat and trusted me to find the right fabric. That's a lot of pressure. I like it, so it must be good, right? :)
(I need to remove that airline sticker from my car seat model. How tacky.)

Bugs!

My sister, Jen, is due with her fourth boy any second. I made the froggy car seat blanket for her months ago - before all the fantastic improvements we've made. Of course I had to make a totally different car seat blanket with bugs fabric for her. The contrasting handles made my day.

Brittney's Giveaway Car Seat Blanket

Even though this fabric was hard to work with (the quilted side), I thought the end result was pretty cool. Brittney (one of our giveaway winners) wanted to have something paisley that didn't look too girly. Because it's for a boy.

I also did a really girly car seat blanket over the weekend. Since I finished it in the middle of the night, my pictures turned out bad bad bad. (I couldn't get the flash to work and yet it wasn't bright enough either. What the heck?) Anyway, the close up of the fabrics wasn't too bad. I was so excited to find Amy Butler's Dandelion fabric in pink!

I Do Not Judge

My best friend asked me to make her a car seat blanket (for her friend) with a New York Giants theme. I think this goes above and beyond supporting the team, but I'm happy to have a challenge. They make college-themed fabric too. Just so you know. :)

Amy Butler for Boys?

Amy Butler fabrics are ALL darling! I chose this floral print for my cousin Miranda who is due to move to Utah from Hawaii. Is it too girly? We don't know the sex of the baby quite yet . . .

Blue Paisley

I absolutely fell in love with this fabric, then found a soft, almost minky blue fabric for the backing. It turned out so darling!
