Everywhere I Look, Little Girls

I have had four girl car seat blankets (canopies) in cue for a long time. Cousin Kelly is having her first girl (after three boys) and I can't wait to give this happy yellow and orange floral car seat blanket to her! Also, I've made three other girl car seat blankets that are in the shop now. If you'd like to buy any of these or buy a pattern so you can make your own car seat blanket, visit our shop
This one below is so cute, don't you think? I love this line of fabric named "Frolic." It makes me want to do just that - frolic.
This sweet blue with butterflies and dragon flies is backed with the softest green flannel.
These "Barefoot Roses" are great for the summer months!

New Stuff I Forgot to Blog About

It's been very exciting having our pattern in the shop.  So exciting that I forgot that I'm still making car seat blankets for the people who don't feel like making one for themselves.  That's cool, man.  :)

First, some more jungle stuff for boys.  A very baby-friendly jungle...

This next one has zebra stripes on the inside.  A fun surprise for baby to focus on.

I finally found a combo of Riley Blake's Rainy Day fabrics that I couldn't resist making a car seat blanket with.  Such charming fabric and I love these colors!

Last, but not least, some of Amy Hamblin's "Marabella."  I've used a different fabric or two from this line and I still like it every time I see it.

Our Pattern!

It's finally done!  If any of you know either of us, you know it took us this long because we did it right.  Color photos and step-by-step instructions.  And you can email us if something isn't clear.  It's in the shop right now!

We have physical copies as well if you'd rather be old school and get it in the mail. :) Or, if you'd like us to just make the car seat canopy for you, we have plenty in the shop.

Safari & Vintage Cars

Every time I go to a fabric store I've got in the back of my mind that I need "boy" fabric.  Last week I hit a small jackpot (I think, anyway) and made these two car seat blankets with my treasures:
