HUGE GIVEAWAY!

We are giving away a car seat blanket, a "babysitter bag," and 10 thank you notes! Make a comment on this post and you are entered to win. Add us to your blog roll (and leave your blog address in the comment) and you get a second entry. Buy anything from our etsy shop and you're entered. In other words, you can be entered up to three times. Please don't leave more than one comment (unless you forgot to leave us your blog address the first time but since I'm reminding you right now you won't forget anyway). We'll be taking entries until 8:00 a.m. MDT on August 15th. Even if you can't use this yourself, be a hero to a new mom and win it for her! (I overheard a pregnant woman and her mother at the fabric store today - because, of course, I was at the fabric store today - and the soon-to-be grandmother was saying her daughter needed a car seat cover. "People think they can just look at your baby and touch his mouth! I hate that!" Seriously. Be a hero.)

And now for the goods:
Here they are! (Except the chair. You can't have my chair.)

The outside of this bag is my favorite fabric ever. The inside is yellow minky. Because it is. Maybe your hands are going to get cold in the car one day while you're driving junior to the babysitter's house. Keep one hand on the wheel and put the other one in the bag! Like a muff. Remember muffs? I don't - my Mom wouldn't buy one for me. (We're feeling really generous - the bag might have some goodies in it for the winner.)

My only idea for the cards in this giveaway was that maybe there should be some green in it. And look what Kristi came up with! She read the part of my mind that I don't have access to.

Please enter to win and good luck!

P.S. If we're already on your blog roll, tell us in your comment and we'll make sure you get that second entry. :)

Blue With Leaves

I still love doing cotton and minky car seat blankets. They're the perfect weight for those cooler days coming up. My son was born last fall and I made him one with minky on it and it was perfect. If you know someone who is due in the fall or winter months, buy this for them on our etsy shop, The Butterfly Net. They'll love you forever. :)

Update: SOLD
However, if you want to purchase one like this, email us at carseatblanket@gmail.com and we'll do a custom order for you. :)

Pink and Brown Dots

I've always been in love with pink and brown. When my daughter was born I had everything in her room in sync with pink and brown. I loved this fabric, and had nobody particular in mind when I bought it, but just had to make a car seat blanket with it. And, yes, it's reversible. I just got lazy and didn't take the pictures of the other side attached.

Blue Paisley

I loved the pink version so much, I had to make one in blue, too. This time I used celery-green minky for the inside.
